Which files stay on my device?

Only explicit Private Browser Mode keeps supported files and results on-device with no platform result URL, dashboard history, server analytics, or cloud fallback. Cloud, API, and Site Audit fix-pack flows create temporary Optimagio results that count according to the current quota rules.

Which formats do you support?

The optimizer works with JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, and AVIF for input and output. The public formats endpoint also lists TIFF/BMP as input metadata where the server stack can decode them.

What does Site Image Audit actually change?

The audit is free to run and uses zero optimization credits before fix-pack generation. Paid/authenticated fix-pack flow optimizes selected same-origin fixable images and exports optimized files plus replacement-map CSV/JSON.

What's the file size limit?

Anonymous public tool: 5 MB per file, 20 files at a time, and 20 optimizations per month. Free account: 10 MB per file. Starter: 25 MB. Pro: 100 MB. Business: 150 MB. Scale file-size policy is custom by contract.

Can I use reports with private processing?

Private Browser Mode reports stay local. Saved dashboard reports and Verified Report validation are available from Cloud only platform results and are tracked under report storage and bandwidth limits.

Can I choose an access tier today?

Free optimization is available now. Pricing for Starter, Pro, Business, and Scale is shown for planning; when self-service billing is enabled, paid plan terms are confirmed before any charge.

How long do optimized URLs last?

Platform optimized URLs are short-lived capability links. The UI keeps active results alive while you work, but storage cleanup can expire them; batch and ZIP endpoints return a clear 409 when no downloadable files remain.
