Refund Policy
Effective date: May 28, 2026
Read before checkout.
All paid Optimagio purchases are intended for business and developer use. Once a paid subscription, renewal, paid plan change, or paid add-on is activated, charges are final except where mandatory consumer law, Paddle buyer protections, a confirmed duplicate or payment-error refund, fraud, unauthorized-charge handling, material non-delivery, or a verified product defect requires otherwise. Cancel before renewal if you do not want to be charged.
1. Merchant of Record
Paid subscriptions and paid add-ons for Optimagio are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd as our merchant of record. Paddle handles payment collection, tax calculation, receipts, buyer support, statutory withdrawal requests, refund administration, and chargeback handling under Paddle's Buyer Terms and Refund Policy.
Optimagio can investigate product issues, verify entitlement state, and provide account evidence to Paddle, but does not process card refunds directly, issue off-platform repayments, reimburse currency-conversion losses, or reimburse bank, wire, or processor fees.
2. Business-Purpose Acknowledgment
You acknowledge that Optimagio is offered primarily to businesses, agencies, developers, and other professional users for use in their trade, business, craft, or profession. By completing checkout you confirm that the purchase is made for such business purposes unless you expressly identify yourself as a consumer at checkout. Where you are a consumer under mandatory law and that law applies, your statutory rights are preserved and are addressed under the "Mandatory Refund or Withdrawal Requests" section below.
3. Activated Paid Access
Activation means checkout completion, subscription activation, renewal processing, a paid plan-change charge, a paid add-on charge, or paid access, quota, storage, API, report, Site Audit, or support capacity being granted to the account.
After a paid subscription, renewal, or paid plan change is activated, Optimagio does not provide discretionary refunds, prorated refunds, service credits, or courtesy refunds for the activated period. This does not limit mandatory consumer rights, Paddle buyer protections, confirmed duplicate or payment-error refunds, fraud or unauthorized-charge handling, or remedies for material non-delivery or verified product defects.
Unused quota, unused storage, unused time, a change in project needs, failure to cancel before renewal, procurement mistakes, employee turnover, duplicate internal purchases, billing-contact changes, internal budget changes, missed calendar reminders, account inactivity, currency-conversion differences, bank, wire, or processor fees, withholding taxes, or a decision not to use the Service after access is granted do not create a refund, credit, discount, setoff, extension, or extra-capacity entitlement from Optimagio. Quota or credits already consumed, downloads already delivered, Site Audit scans already executed, and storage already used are final and cannot be reversed or restored.
4. Cancellations and Renewals
You may cancel a subscription from the Billing tab or Paddle customer portal to stop future renewals. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless Paddle, Optimagio, or mandatory law applies a legally required immediate remedy. Your paid access normally continues through the paid period. You are responsible for cancelling before the renewal date if you do not want to be charged.
Monthly and annual renewal charges are final once processed and activated except for mandatory rights, Paddle buyer protections, confirmed duplicate charges, payment errors, unauthorized charges, material non-delivery, or verified product defects. Cancelling a subscription does not cancel charges that were already properly incurred, does not entitle you to retroactive refunds for prior periods, and does not waive obligations accrued before cancellation.
5. Plan Changes and Paid Additions
If you choose an immediate plan upgrade, interval change, paid add-on, extra image pack, extra bandwidth pack, storage expansion, or other paid capacity, Paddle may charge immediately and Optimagio may grant the related access immediately. Once that access is activated, the charge follows this same no-discretionary-refunds policy.
Where the interface offers an end-of-period change, choosing that option avoids an immediate paid activation and keeps your current plan until the next renewal. You are responsible for selecting the option that matches your intent.
6. Mandatory Refund or Withdrawal Requests
If you believe mandatory law, Paddle buyer protections, a duplicate charge, a payment error, an unauthorized payment, material non-delivery, or a verified product defect gives you a refund or withdrawal right, contact Paddle through the receipt, customer portal, or paddle.net. You may also email [email protected] from the account email with your Paddle transaction ID and a concise description of the issue so we can investigate and provide product evidence. Requests should be raised promptly and in any event within the period required by the applicable mandatory law; late requests may be denied where mandatory law allows.
A request does not guarantee approval. If a refund, withdrawal, reversal, or credit is required or approved by Paddle or mandatory law, access to the relevant paid product, quota, add-on, storage, report capacity, or billing period may end immediately or be reduced to the Free tier, and any data subject to lifecycle limits may be removed in line with those limits. Approval of a refund for one period is not an admission of liability and does not create a future refund entitlement.
7. Suspension, Termination, and No-Refund Effect
If your account is suspended or terminated for breach of the Terms of Service, Acceptable Use, sanctions, export control, anti-fraud, or anti-abuse provisions, paid access may end immediately and no refund will be issued for the remaining period, except where mandatory law requires otherwise. Reasonable anti-abuse measures, security responses, and rights-holder takedown actions are not "non-delivery" or "product defects" and do not create a refund entitlement.
8. Taxes, VAT, and Business Purchases
Paddle calculates and collects applicable sales tax, VAT, GST, and similar transaction taxes. Tax-exempt or reverse-charge handling must be addressed with Paddle using Paddle's buyer support process and requested evidence. Optimagio does not separately reimburse taxes, exchange-rate differences, bank, wire, or processor fees, foreign-transaction surcharges, or withholding taxes, except where mandatory law requires a different outcome.
If you purchase Optimagio for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization and that the purchase is for business use. Internal approval delays, budget changes, missed cancellation reminders, or unused capacity do not create a refund right after activation.
9. Product Defect Review
For a product-defect claim, provide the account email, Paddle transaction ID, affected workflow, timestamps, file/report identifiers where safe to share, and a concise reproduction summary. Optimagio may review logs, entitlement state, quota/accounting records, storage state, and report evidence to determine whether the issue was a verified product defect, a third-party outage, an unsupported input, a misuse, a quota exhaustion, a local browser limitation, a network or device issue, a configuration problem, or an issue arising from your own systems or content. Estimated savings, scores, audit recommendations, format compatibility, and other heuristic or AI-assisted outputs are not warranted to be accurate and do not constitute a "product defect" merely because the result differs from your expectation; see the Disclaimer of Warranties in the Terms of Service.
10. Chargebacks and Abuse
If you believe a charge is unauthorized, contact Paddle or [email protected] before initiating a chargeback where practical. Chargebacks, reversals, refund abuse, false non-delivery claims, false product-defect claims, or manipulative behavior may lead to immediate suspension, loss of paid access, blocked future purchases, retention of evidence, and evidence submission to Paddle, payment processors, card networks, or competent authorities. Optimagio may recover reasonable costs and fees incurred in responding to fraudulent or manifestly-unfounded chargebacks to the extent permitted by law.
This section does not limit lawful rights to dispute unauthorized or incorrect charges through Paddle, your payment provider, or applicable consumer-rights channels.
